Where do you set your map properties? Specifically, I right click a layer--> Properties--> On the Fly Projection and then attempt to put a check in the Enabled box and I get an error of "Please specify map projection under map properties before using this functionality". Where do I set the map properties?

Whats the difference between a project and a solution? I read about it in the help files but it still doesnt make sense to me.

Manual georeferencing

Is it possible to manually georeference an image file? I have an image file that Im able to import but since it doesnt have a world file it comes in incorrectly. Can this be manually "moved/scaled/rotated" into the correct position?

The crux of the problem is that I dont have a world file. I was trying to figure out if I could manually move/scale/rotate it into the correct position after its been inserted. Based on what I read in your link it looks like the answer to my question no.

Import dwg files

Are there any plans to update the software so that *.dwg (Autocad drawing files) can be imported?
