scale thresholds on rasters dont work
|
I had the same problem when using BMPs and TIFFS.
If you convert to ECW format and reload the layers, this seems to work. However, there was a loss of quality but that may be down to the software I used to convert the files (Oziexplorer).
I also noticed that these converted files didnt display correctly when close to their maximum zoom scale. The image will appear on the screen but only covering part of the screen. The layer beneath shows around the edges and proves that the scale is incorrect. The files are ok when zoomed further out.
Hope this makes sense!

Web Updater
|
Have any changes been made to files that the Web Updater should be picking up? I use the Web Updater every day and even though it checks both the server and local machine it always says that no files have been updated.
I have the 16th July version.
Thanks

Thanks Dave
I was just checking that all was right at my end!
I use AccuGlobe every day and find it invaluable but the printing functionality and the issue with scale dependencies does unfortunately spoil it a bit.

Theme Legend Labels
|
The theme labels created from the various values will not always mean anything to a user. It would be good if you could enter a more meaningful alias rather than having to just use the text contained in the various fields.

Printing
|
This latest release is 1000 times better than previous versions. However, the printing module is still crashing and not acting as it should. The main problems that I have encountered so far are:
1. The quality of the printed output is still very poor. This is especially noticible when working with Vector files. I assume that is because the printed output is a rastorised "image" of the view. 2. When refresing after using Page Setup in the printing module, the drawing page size seems to grow to something pretty big. Larger than A0 even. 3. Even when the Map Image is left at the default size, it still prints on more than one page (A4). 4. I have had problems saving and loading templates.
Sorry if this sounds bad, but I do really like the way it is going.
