Cant add tifs
|
I dont know the pedigree of yours, but not all tif formats are supported. There are various types of compression (or non-compressed), and color depth.

scale bar units
|
It does not seem that I can get the scale bar to work properly except in native units.
eg. if the display map units are set to meter for utm projection then that will work, but setting the map units to something else like feet, resets the title but not the scale. This leads to the scale bar being inaccurate. In fact the map display units fall back to meter even if set to something else.

try adding a header, which is typical, as below
lat_y,long_x 42.35067, -82.53594 42.36062, -83.53596 42.37058, -84.53596 42.38056, -85.53590
this gets 4 dots in a mostly horizontal row.

you "should" be able to grab the top of the dialog box and move it higher. alternatively you can go to the taskbar at the bottom and right click on the icon for the dialog box; choose move; and then use the up arrow....
