We have a gis question, and are hoping you can help us.
We have a list of formal truck parking locations in the area. They are
points and include the number of spaces available for each.
We also have the highway departments traffic map in gis with their
daily counts (aadt) for trucks.
Which gis function would we use to make some kind of density function?
ie, for all the segments we would 1)buffer for a given radius the number
of truck spaces available, and then 2)divide number of spaces in that
radius by the traffic count?
