Hi Parmfield,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

This has been previously discovered and corrected. Please run the web updater to download the latest version that does not have this problem (20th March 2007).

Thanks

I completed the updater process and I revieved a similar error pop up
box but where the prior error box said
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
it now says "failed to compare two elements of the array"

Also, I successfully added an Interval them based on this
same field.
thanks for your help.

Hi Peter,

It would appear that theres a scenario that we are not taking into account. Whats the datatype of your related field?

the data is the year like 2005, 2006 etc in a microsoft access table
with the field type being a number set to interger. I have it indexed
with duplicates ok.

In my last note I reported that I had successfully added a an interval
theme based on this same field. but since then I have tried to
edit this theme and have received similar fatal errors.

Ive just tried to reproduce the issue without success.

Would it be possible to get a copy of your data (or subset with the same problem)?

yes. but what do you need and would I send you an email or
send you a disk.
I could send a paird down access data base with just the
table I am working with and the subdirectory of all the map files
or do you just need the .shp file with the table I am working with
or would you want me to send you the .shp file that I have
with the relate aleady added.

Id like the shapefile and mdb that you are using for the relation. I dont need the full thing if the problem can be recreated with a subset.

please send to support @ ddti.net. We have an ftp site if its too large to email.

thanks

OK. parcels.dbf has been sent

also I sent two other files parcelsmod.shp and parcelsmod.dbf
which is result of a table merge done in Arcview 3.3
and then used in Accuglobe. Adding themes to this data
set did not give the error reported. Note that the data
in these files are two months older and similar but not exactly
the same data.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the files - I was able to reproduce the issue. The next update will have a fix for this problem. We currently do not have a date for this release but please keep checking the web updater.

Thanks
