I am an experienced GIS user, but am new to Accuglobe. I am trying to digitize a tract of land by drawing a new polygon feature on a layer that I just created (using a georeferenced ortho image to trace around the field). The image that I am using, as well as the map and my new polygon shape file are all projected in UTM z18 US Foot. When I start drawing the polygon, each verticy is correct when I first draw them. When I get to my last verticy and double click to close the polygon, the whole polygon becomes almost twice as big as it was and shifts to the South East. All of my data is in NAD 1983, so I dont think that datum is the issue. I also noticed that when I click my mouse to use the PAN tool, the background image becomes about 1/2 of the size it was and shifts to the North West. I am sure I am overlooking something simple, but I cant get the polygon to stay where I draw it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi soconnor,
A small minority of our users are experiencing this problem and we have tracked it down to the display DPI setting.
If you could confirm this is your problem also - under Display Properties go to Settings Tab->Advanced->General. Here you can specify the DPI setting or font size. The problem occurs when this isnt 96 or normal size.
Thanks.

Dave, Thanks! That worked. I had a larger font size selected. When I changed it to normal, and rebooted, the problem corrected itself. I appreciate the help.

We have modified AccuGlobe 2007 to correctly render at higher screen DPIs.
Please run the web updater.
Thanks.
